along with a copy of your passport or identity card and either a recent letter from your doctor or a clear picture (scan) of you holding a recent newspaper (date must be clearly visible) + a stamped envelope addressed to yourself in which we will send you the signed and stamped certificate. You will then need to send the certificate to the Belgian Federal Pension Service.

The Belgian Federal Pensions Service states the following bodies/persons can sign and stamp a life certificate in the UK:

  • Job Centre

  • Police
  • Solicitor

If you are a holder of a non-British passport, your Consulate can sign your Life Certificate.
