Life certificate
If you are a Belgian citizen (and only if you are Belgian) and you received a life certificate from the Belgian Federal Pension Service to be signed and stamped by this Consulate, you need to make an appointment via our online booking system. You will not be able to enter the Embassy without an appointment.
You will need to bring along : the relevant life certificate and a proof of your identity .
If you are unable to travel because of ill health, you can send the certificate to :

along with a copy of your passport or identity card and either a recent letter from your doctor or a clear picture (scan) of you holding a recent newspaper (date must be clearly visible) + a stamped envelope addressed to yourself in which we will send you the signed and stamped certificate. You will then need to send the certificate to the Belgian Federal Pension Service.
